  • Evolution 987M – This variable-speed, modulating furnace is Energy Star qualified. It has an annual fuel utilization efficiency (AFUE) rating of up to 98.3 percent.
  • Evolution 986T – This two-stage unit is Energy Star qualified and has an AFUE efficiency rating of up to 96.7 percent.
  • Evolution 830CA – This single-stage unit offers 65 percent lower emissions than standard models and has an AFUE efficiency rating of 80 percent. However, this model is not Energy Star qualified. 

Preferred series variable-speed gas furnaces

  • Preferred 926T – This two-stage furnace has an AFUE efficiency rating of up to 96.5 percent and is Energy Star qualified. 
  • Preferred 925S – This single-stage furnace has an AFUE efficiency rating of up to 96.2 percent and is Energy Star qualified.
  • Preferred 820TA – This two-stage furnace has an AFUE efficiency rating of 80 percent.

Evolution system heat pumps

  • Evolution 280A – This variable-speed model is Energy Star qualified and holds recognition as the most efficient Energy Star heat pump of 2019. This model has a seasonal energy efficiency ratio (SEER) of 20.5 and a heating seasonal performance factor (HSPF) of up to 13. The unit operates down to 58 dB in cooling mode and down to 62 dB in heating mode.
  • Evolution 288BNV – This variable-speed model is Energy Star qualified in some sizes. The heat pump has a SEER efficiency of 18 and an HSPF efficiency of up to 11. The unit operates at low speeds, down to 55 dB. 
  • Evolution 286BNC – This variable-speed model is Energy Star qualified in all sizes. It has a SEER efficiency of 17.5 and an HSPF efficiency of up to 9.5, and the unit operates at 60 to 69 dB. 

Preferred series heat pumps

  • Preferred 226A – This variable-speed model is Energy Star qualified in all sizes. It has a SEER efficiency of 17.5 and an HSPF efficiency of up to 9.5. The heat pump operates down to 70 dB.
  • Preferred 225B – This single-stage model is Energy Star qualified in all sizes. The heat pump has a SEER efficiency of 16 and an HSPF efficiency of up to nine, and it operates down to 68 dB.
  • Preferred 226C – This single-stage model is Energy Star qualified in all sizes. The unit has a SEER efficiency of 16 and an HSPF efficiency of up to nine. The heat pump operates down to 67 dB.

  • Legacy 607C – This single-stage unit has a SEER efficiency of 14.5 and an HSPF efficiency of eight, and it is not Energy Star qualified. The system operates down to 73 dB.
  • Legacy 677C – This single-stage unit has a SEER efficiency of 14.5 and an HSPF efficiency of eight. The system is not Energy Star qualified, and it operates down to 73 dB. The unit has an 81 percent AFUE rating.
