DetailsThe Fantech FKD 18-230 Duct Fan offers silent ventilation for offices, hospitals, beauty salons, veterinary clinicsand residential applications. This centrifugal fan offers the high air flow capacity of axial fans. Plus, this duct fan features a mixed flow, backward curved impeller to prevent overloading. With a galvanized steel housing, it is built to last. This mixed flow duct fan comes with a speed-controllable external rotor motor, which allows the fan to operate even in high moisture, lint and dust-laden areas. This motor features automatic reset thermal overload protection, permanent split-type capacitor and sealed ball bearings. It operates in airstream temperatures of about 140 F. The motor and impeller are designed as a single unit to dissipate heat even at low RPMs. This centrifugal duct fan has a straight-through inline design in various sizes to facilitate easy installation anywhere along the duct line.
