Question:

Where is the blower motor on a furnace?

Answer:

The furnace blower motor is typically located in a compartment near the bottom of the unit, positioned below the heat exchanger and burner assembly, and adjacent to the air filter. The furnace blower motor works by drawing in air from the return ducts and passing it over the heat exchanger to be heated. The heated air is then distributed throughout the home via the ductwork.
